Titanium Anodization: What It Is and How It Works
Anodizing is a process that allows titanium to be colored naturally and permanently, without the use of paints or pigments. Thanks to a controlled electrochemical reaction, an oxide layer forms on the metal's surface, altering how light is reflected and creating brilliant, unique colors.
Unlike traditional coloring methods, anodizing does not cover the metal but rather modifies its surface at a microscopic level. By varying the voltage during the process, a wide range of colors can be achieved: from blue to purple, bronze to green, and even gold and many other shades.
